We are an independent video game developer and publisher, also working in film, board games, books and comics. We are looking for a PR Specialist to drive awareness and excitement for our new IP AlienDeathstorm and other projects.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage Rebellion’s communications strategy to generate brand awareness and growth in alignment with company strategic direction and goals.
- Update and deliver marketing and development information through owned media as well as via external PR agencies and automated systems.
- Manage relationships with all external PR partners, including agencies, distribution partner PR teams and our existing contact database.
- Develop regular interface with other PR practitioners in the wider business, such as Film/TV, Unplugged & Publishing.
- Continuously look for ways to positively engage and grow Rebellion’s public profile via specialist and lifestyle press activations.
- Create and manage processes to track and monitor each communication activation, ensuring qualitative and quantitative objectives are met.
- Forge strong and trusted relationships with key press and media within Rebellion’s gaming genres and beyond to encourage constructive interactions.
- Work alongside Product Marketing and Community to ensure PR & Communications initiatives are primed, timed and apt to our audiences.
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of current games press and trends.
- Agency management experience.
- PR administration skills and excellent written communication.
- Previous PR experience in the games industry.
- Tactics to build positive stories and activations with games press.
- Budget management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines at all levels.
