Mid‑level UI/UX Designer – Oxford, UK. Join our UI/UX team to influence upcoming multi‑platform projects. Design intuitive UI, create wireframes and high‑fidelity prototypes, and implement solutions using visual scripting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design multi‑platform UI solutions for a variety of input devices
  • Define and mentor team on best practices and principles within the industry
  • Collaborate with Design and UI Art to create wireframes, high‑fidelity mock‑ups and prototypes
  • Identify and clearly define complex UX problems before moving into solution design
  • Assess benefits, risks, costs and feasibility of project features to find achievable solutions
  • Learn and use visual scripting tools to implement UI solutions
  • Champion usability and accessibility across the product
  • Encourage diverse viewpoints and collaboration across teams
  • Research and eliminate UI barriers through iterative internal feedback
  • Assist with optimisation and debugging to resolve tester‑identified issues

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar UI/UX role
  • Portfolio of interaction design demonstrating UX methodology, wireframing and prototyping
  • Portfolio of visual design showing hierarchy, typography and composition awareness
  • Experience championing the player’s perspective, reducing cognitive load and building consistency across a product
  • Desire to learn implementation in an engine with visual scripting toolsets such as Unreal or Unity UMG
