We're looking for a Product Data Specialist to help organisations improve the quality, structure, and consistency of their product information. This is a role for someone who enjoys working with data and people in equal measure.
You'll partner closely with customers to understand their product data, identify opportunities for improvement, and support them in creating more complete, accurate, and reliable information that can be used confidently across multiple systems and digital channels. Rather than simply managing data, you'll help customers develop stronger data practices over time. Your work will contribute to better customer experiences, improved compliance, and more efficient digital operations.
You'll manage and maintain customer product information, including attributes, specifications, images, and supporting content throughout onboarding and ongoing support activities. Working closely with customers, you'll guide them through a structured onboarding journey, helping them understand data requirements, achieve key milestones, and establish strong foundations for long-term success.
A key part of the role involves reviewing product datasets, identifying gaps or inconsistencies, and communicating recommendations clearly and constructively. You'll help customers improve data completeness and quality through regular reporting, collaboration, and ongoing support. You'll also apply data governance standards to ensure information remains accurate, consistent, and trustworthy.
Alongside this, you'll contribute feedback and insights that help improve internal processes, data models, and customer experiences. The role includes investigating and resolving data quality issues, responding to support requests, and working with stakeholders to ensure service levels are maintained.
You may have experience in product information management, data governance, master data, or a related data-focused role. Experience working with PIM platforms, data models, or data integration processes would be advantageous, as would familiarity with standards such as GS1 or ETIM. Strong Excel skills are essential, including confidence using formulas, lookups, and data analysis techniques.
We're looking for someone who combines analytical thinking with strong communication skills and can confidently explain data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will have a strong attention to detail and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. You're organised, proactive, and comfortable managing your own workload while collaborating effectively with colleagues and customers. You enjoy solving problems, adapting to new challenges, and working in an evolving environment. Most importantly, you're customer-focused and motivated by helping others improve and succeed over time.
