I'm working with a company in Lincoln who are looking to expand their dev team to increase their capacity for cool drone-related tech. They are a friendly bunch of nerdy chaps who love what they do, and have a grand old time doing it!
I am after someone with a good few years of experience working with C++ and surrounding tech - coming from a military/defence/aviation background would be stellar - who loves getting their hands dirty and tinkering with tech, especially hardware and low-level code.
You'll ideally be an aerospace fan, and love understanding how hardware and software fit together. You'll be someone who really enjoys a good head-scratcher of a problem that might take some doing to solve, but when you get a solution, it's the best thing ever.
You'll be a reliable and hard-working team member, who can easily and happily interact with others, share your thoughts, and put forward ideas. They are a supportive bunch and will look after you. The work you do for them is needed, appreciated and rewarded – they have good career progression and team feel.
Key skills are:
- C++
- QT framework would be beneficial, as that's what they use on the front end
- Network programming
Any experience with TDD, Git/ Bitbucket, or QT creator would be great. Ideally, you'll be happy on either Linux or Windows, too.
