About the Role
As a Lubrication Technician, you'll play a vital role in helping customers improve the reliability and performance of their industrial equipment. Working across a variety of customer sites, you'll carry out planned lubrication activities, perform routine inspections and identify opportunities to improve asset reliability. Your day-to-day work will include:
- Lubricating rotating equipment
- Carrying out oil changes
- Checking filtration systems
- Taking oil samples for analysis
- Reporting any issues such as leaks or potential reliability concerns
You'll also work closely with Reliability Engineers to help deliver continuous improvement and best practice maintenance solutions. Comprehensive training is provided, including structured classroom learning, practical on-the-job coaching and recognised industry certification, giving you the opportunity to become a specialist in lubrication and reliability maintenance.
About You
You'll have a technical qualification or practical experience within an electromechanical or mechanical engineering environment and enjoy working independently while taking ownership of your work. You'll be proactive, safety-conscious and comfortable working as part of a collaborative technical team. Experience in industrial lubrication or a Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT) Level 1 or 2 qualification would be advantageous, but not essential, as full training and certification can be provided. A willingness to travel across the UK to support customers is essential, although you'll primarily work within your local region.
