Are you passionate about building high-quality software and preventing issues before they reach users? We’re looking for a Lead QA Engineer who takes pride in improving development processes, shaping testing strategy, and driving excellence across the release lifecycle. In this role, you’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to define test cases, ensure clarity in bug reporting, and embed strong QA practices across the business. You’ll play a key role in release management, collaborating with engineering leadership to deliver reliable, high-performing software. You’ll also lead on automated testing, contribute to continuous improvement of QA metrics and processes, and support the team in delivering robust, scalable solutions. This is a flexible hybrid role, combining remote and office working in a way that suits you.
What you’ll bring
- You’re someone who cares deeply about quality and enjoys solving complex problems.
- You combine technical expertise with a detail‑focused mindset and strong communication skills.
- Strong experience with TypeScript, browser developer tools, and modern testing frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Selenium).
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, API testing, and performance testing tools.
- Confidence working with Git‑based workflows.
- Experience leading or mentoring QA engineers.
- A proactive approach to improving processes and preventing defects.
It’s a bonus if you also have
- Experience with SQL and AWS (e.g. CloudWatch).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and Atlassian tools.
- Exposure to modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js.
