Night Security Duty Controller in Hatfield

We are looking to recruit a night security duty controller to add to our team based at our Head Office in Hatfield. You must hold a valid SIA Licence and a full UK driving licence. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: – Ensuring client sites are covered at all times – Providing out of hours support to all staff on sites – Conduct key holding and mobile patrol duties. – Attend to any alarm activations. – Provide emergency site cover. – Conduct welfare and site visits on a weekly planned schedule. – Take hourly check calls from lone worker staff. – Manage and accurately update the rostering system – Ensure all reports are completed as required. – Report any issues to the Contracts Managers / Operations Director Core Requirements: – Must hold a frontline SIA Licence – Must hold a full valid UK driving licence – Must be computer literate – Excellent verbal and written communication skills. – High degree of accuracy – A excellent understanding of situations, organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads – An excellent telephone manner – The ability to work effectively under pressure – The ability to deal tactfully and effectively with a wide range of people. – A good knowledge and understanding of the SIA Industry – Ability to adapt to change – Dealing with customer enquiries in writing and by telephone – Working on their own as a lone worker – Taking ownership – Able to make decisions and work unsupervised – Able to deal with escalated client queries, handling unforeseen situations and finding solutions This position will be following a 4 on 4 off rotation pattern, covering 12 hour shifts. The successful candidate must be able to work using their own initiative as they will primarily be a lone worker. They must also be self-motivated, with the ability to perform effectively when under pressure and a reliable, enthusiastic team member. A uniform will be provided.
