Rèasort Estates is recruiting for two roles at Morsgail Lodge, a mixed sporting estate on the Isle of Lewis. The estate is seeking a Stalker and Fishing Ghillie and a Housekeeper, with applications welcomed from individuals or couples looking to live and work in a remote island estate setting.

Stalker and Fishing Ghillie
  • Take guests out for deer stalking and salmon and sea trout fishing.
  • Guide fly fishing from both boat and bank.
  • Support deer stalking and walk up shooting across open hill ground.
  • Assist with general estate maintenance and sporting operations.
  • Work closely with guests, maintaining a professional and welcoming manner at all times.
Housekeeper
  • Carry out cleaning and full changeovers of self-catering properties across the estate.
  • Complete daily housekeeping duties during the summer season.
  • Work to a high standard, with strong attention to detail.
  • Use the estate’s purpose-built laundry facilities as part of the role.
  • Manage workload efficiently to meet operational requirements.
What we are looking for

For the Stalker and Fishing Ghillie role:

  • Experience guiding guests for stalking and fishing.
  • Good knowledge of fly fishing from boat and bank.
  • Comfortable working across open hill ground.
  • Full UK driving licence and valid firearms certificate.

For the Housekeeper role:

  • Experience delivering high quality cleaning and changeovers.
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
  • A full UK driving licence required for both roles.
  • Work well as part of a small team and independently.
  • A good sense of humour and a practical approach to remote living are important.
