Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper Location:

£27,000 - £31,000 Hours:
Full Time We're looking for an organised and dependable Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper to help keep the day-to-day finances of a busy business running smoothly. You'll handle a mix of bookkeeping and finance administration, working closely with the wider team to make sure records are accurate, invoices are processed promptly and queries are resolved. What you'll be doing Processing purchase and sales invoices
Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
Managing payments, expenses and supplier queries
Supporting credit control and following up outstanding invoices
Assisting with VAT returns, payroll information and month-end reporting
Keeping finance systems and spreadsheets up to date
What we're looking for Experience in a bookkeeping or finance assistant role
Confidence using accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
Good Excel skills and strong attention to detail
A practical, organised approach and the ability to manage deadlines
Clear communication skills and a willingness to help across the team
An AAT qualification or experience supporting VAT returns and payroll would be welcome, but relevant hands-on experience matters most. Interested?
