We are looking for an organised and proactive HR & Office Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of our office environment and coordinating the employee lifecycle. What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Office Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the office environment, ensuring a well-maintained and efficient workspace.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain the equipment register, tracking company assets and licenses to ensure proper and timely allocation.
  • Organise company events, meetings, and social activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance, including conducting risk assessments, organising training, and maintaining necessary records.
  • Support the CEO with the coordination of the leadership team.
  • Manage inbound communication (email, telephone) and maintain company information.

HR Administration

  • Support line managers throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain and update the HR platform, ensuring accurate employee records and documentation.
  • Provide HR data and reports to inform leadership decisions, aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate payroll processes with external accountants, ensuring accuracy and timely submission while supporting the team with queries.
  • Assist with onboarding new starters, ensuring they have everything they need for a smooth transition.
  • Support leadership teams by taking notes in HR-related meetings and following up on action points.
  • Contribute to enhancing the employee experience, ensuring employees feel supported and engaged at work.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong knowledge of office management and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration tools.
  • Confidence to work alongside senior leaders and hold them accountable.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in office management and/or HR administration.
  • Understanding of HR processes, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations is desirable.
  • Experience working with HR software or platforms is an advantage.
  • CIPD qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

Role Details

  • Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 pro rata
  • Hours: 2 Days per week spread across 4 days
  • Reporting to: CEO
  • Location: Hybrid
  • Contract Type: Permanent
