Our Academy of Engineering covers Agricultural, Motor Vehicle and Large Transport Vehicle Engineering which includes Bus and Coach, Construction Plant, and Rail, with multiple training facilities across our campus to ensure our learners are industry focused and career ready. The College has significantly invested in the Engineering facility, with a £7 million Advanced Engineering and Agri-Tech Centre boasting some fantastic, state-of-the-art facilities and equipment for teaching purposes. A new facility, at our Reaseheath Engineering Apprenticeship Academy, was purpose built to accommodate the growth in demand within Large Transport Vehicle engineering. We also have an impressive five bay and hi spec equipment facility for our Motor Vehicle cohort.

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and efficient Programme Administrator to join our Engineering curriculum area. This is a key role that supports staff, students, external partners, internal departments and plays an essential part in ensuring an exceptional learner experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the key point of contact for student, parent, and guardian queries whilst upholding safeguarding, equality, GDPR and health & safety policies.
  • Maintain accurate student and departmental records.
  • Provide timely and accurate information across the curriculum area.
  • Support work experience, employer engagement and guest talks.
  • Assist with timetabling and resource booking.
  • Streamline admin processes.

The successful candidate will

  • Hold Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Be educated to Level 3 or have significant admin experience.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Be highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally.

The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment.
