We are seeking a highly organised and proactive PA to provide an efficient and effective personal administration service to the Assistant Principal (Student Experience and Support). This is a fast-paced and varied role where you will play a key part in supporting the smooth running of senior leadership activity, ensuring priorities are effectively managed and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the Assistant Principal's diary, ensuring commitments are realistic and prioritised effectively.
  • Prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, presentations and documentation.
  • Service meetings including agenda preparation, minute taking and tracking of actions.
  • Provide project and event support, including organising meetings, visits and college events.
  • Liaise with staff, students and parents where required, including supporting conduct processes.
  • Raise purchase orders and support budget monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Be educated to at least Level 3, with GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade C/Level 2.
  • Have strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft 365, including Excel and database systems.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied and demanding workload.
  • Be proactive, solution-focused and able to anticipate needs and priorities.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ideally have experience in a similar administrative or PA role, preferably within an FE environment.
