Reaseheath College is a forward thinking and dynamic College providing an excellent educational experience to over 4,500 students a year. The College has invested in the Engineering facility, including a £7 million Advanced Engineering and Agri-Tech Centre with state of the art facilities for teaching purposes. As the UK's leading academy for agricultural engineering, we deliver training in the advanced technology needed to maintain complex tractors and agricultural machinery. Our Agricultural Engineering team supports the development of students' technical knowledge and practical skills with the maintenance of agricultural machinery.
Due to significant growth in the Engineering department, we are looking for a motivated and innovative Advanced Technical Trainer to deliver high-quality, progressive training and assessment for Agricultural Engineering Apprentices. This is a vital role to the Engineering department, providing practical delivery to Apprentices who are on block release from their employers.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver practical and theory-based teaching sessions to apprentices.
- Assess their progress against industry standards and quality assure training delivery.
- Work with national and local employers.
- Gain teaching skills and relevant qualifications to enhance your career.
- Work within state of the art facilities with industry specific resources.

The successful candidate will:
- Have a minimum level 3 qualification within an Engineering related vocational area (or be willing to work towards one).
- Have Level 2 Maths & English qualifications.
- Have experience working as an engineer focusing on equipment service, maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery.
- Have excellent people skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Be willing to participate in training to improve and further your skills.

Reaseheath offers a full CPD programme with access to funded qualifications alongside hands-on support whilst completing Further Education Training. Industry professionals joining the College in an academic role will complete their Further Education Training whilst in post.
