About the role
Our People Services team plays a vital role in supporting colleagues across the College, ensuring an excellent employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle. We are seeking an organised, customer-focused and proactive administrator to join the team and help deliver a professional and efficient People Services function. We are looking for an Interim People Services Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support across all aspects of People Services activity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous HR or People Services experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
The role will support a wide range of People Services processes including recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes, payroll administration, learning and development activities, systems administration and providing first-line People Services support to colleagues across the College.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for People Services telephone calls, emails and visitors, providing a professional and helpful service.
- Co-ordinate end-to-end recruitment administration for all College vacancies, including advertising, shortlisting support, assessment centres and reporting.
- Provide advice and guidance to line managers on recruitment processes, policies and assessment options.
- Manage the full new starter process, including issuing contracts, undertaking pre-employment checks (DBS and references), and ensuring accurate data entry on the People Services system.
- Prepare accurate and timely payroll information in line with monthly deadlines and liaise with colleagues to ensure smooth payroll processing.
- Manage the People Services inbox and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support staff induction, learning and development activities, staff development days and other College wide events.
- Provide general administrative support to the People Services team, including raising purchase orders and supporting People Services initiatives and events.

Reaseheath offers a full CPD programme with access to funded qualifications alongside hands on support whilst completing Further Education Training. Industry professionals joining the College in an academic role, will complete their Further Education Training whilst in post.

The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment.
