Support Worker – The Porthouse – Worcester Park

Job Summary: Support Worker

Salary: Β£12.55 per hour

Job Type and Hours: The job is full time and will consist of 35 hours per week on a shift basis. This role includes working mornings, evenings and weekends.

This is an excellent opportunity to become a support worker for our supported living service in Worcester Park, which provides care for young adults with autism, learning disabilities who may display behaviour that challenge.

Requirements: Support Worker

  • Relevant experience working in a supportive role
  • Willing to undertake personal care
  • Confident working with challenging behaviour
  • A genuine interest in social care

Desirable: Support Worker

  • Level 3 Health & Social care diploma
  • Experience in specialist care for people with autism, learning disabilities, or complex backgrounds

Responsibilities: Support Worker

  • Providing quality and consistent care to help meet the social, emotional, and behavioural needs of residents
  • Supporting young adults to do their favourite things and to try new activities, both at home and outdoors
  • Promoting the safety, welfare, and protection of the young adults we care for at all times
