We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional with strong expertise in long leasehold matters, property management work, and landlord and tenant law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of residential leasehold matters from instruction through to completion
- Advising landlords, managing agents, and leaseholders on complex landlord and tenant issues
- Preparing and handling First-tier Tribunal applications
- Conducting breach of lease and reasonableness applications
- Advising on dispensation matters and statutory requirements
- Working closely with property managers and clients to provide commercially focused legal advice
- Ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practice
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5 years or more PQE (flexible depending on experience)
- Proven experience in long leasehold and residential property management work
- Strong working knowledge of landlord and tenant law
- Demonstrable experience handling tribunal applications and related proceedings
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
