Opportunity to join a global Fintech organisation that are revolutionising customer experience with next-generation capabilities! My client is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design and development of their core platforms, including APIs, payment gateways, and switching infrastructure.

About the Role: You will lead the design of scalable, high-performance platforms, ensuring they align with strategic business goals. You’ll provide hands-on technical leadership, shape the enterprise architecture roadmap, and guide teams in adopting best practices and principles. The role involves addressing complex architectural challenges, contributing to technology decisions, and occasionally supporting development efforts directly. You’ll also play a key part in translating strategy into actionable plans, promoting cross-team collaboration, and clearly communicating technical direction across the organisation.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years in application and enterprise architecture roles.
  • Proven experience designing SaaS-based systems and external-facing APIs.
  • Proficiency in .NET, Java, or similar languages, with a broad technical skillset spanning frontend and backend development.
  • Strong understanding of systems integration, middleware, caching, databases, and web performance optimisation.
  • Experience within the payments space is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable navigating complex and ambiguous environments to provide clear architectural direction.
  • Skilled at aligning technical strategy with business vision and communicating across all organisational levels.
