The Account Director will play a key role in this growing organisation, so you must be able to build client relationships to understand their needs and provide a bespoke solution. You will have a proven track record of operating at the Director/C-suite level, providing creative solutions and ensuring your team delivers. As such, you will have excellent presentation skills, strong negotiation and influential skills and the ability to bring Clients on the journey. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Account Director who has a track record in pitching Learning and Development (L&D) services to the Financial sector, and liaising with your in-house team to best deliver it. The role is all about existing Clients so networking through accounts, with no requirement to open accounts in new companies.
Responsibilities
- Develop existing relationships with a few large-scale established Clients
- Work closely with Senior Stakeholders to uncover client's needs, and objectives and craft a creative solution that aligns with these needs
- Clearly communicate the client's objectives with colleagues and drive the development of a timely solution
- Provide strategic analysis to help shape the client's business
- Helping shape the direction of your employer with what you see and hear from your Clients
- Be on the Client site as much as you need to be to develop the relationship
- Flexible to do some travel each month - a small amount required upon Client request
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience as an Account Director - selling services to Clients
- Strong background working with or in the Financial/Banking sector
- Demonstrated ability to grow accounts and build client relationships
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience in managing
- Strategic and creative mindset to sell a solution
