Are you passionate about driving impact in the nonprofit sector through technology? A leading consultancy, specialising in digital transformation for charities and social enterprises, is seeking a target-driven Business Development Manager to join their award-winning team.
You’ll play a key role in expanding the company’s footprint across the UK and Ireland, developing new business relationships while nurturing existing client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver individual sales targets as part of the wider team goals
- Generate and manage leads across the UK and Ireland nonprofit sectors
- Build relationships with Salesforce Account Executives and sector consultants
- Lead proposal development and bid teams for client opportunities
- Manage a portfolio of assigned client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and growth
- Contribute to sales, marketing, and product strategy
What We’re Looking For
Essential :
- Proven experience in business development for a technology consultancy or SaaS
- Track record of exceeding £1M+ in annual sales
- Strong communicator able to engage senior nonprofit stakeholders
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM solutions
- Collaborative team player, skilled in cross-functional environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
Desirable :
- Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or similar tools
- Prior work at or with a nonprofit in fundraising or marketing
- Experience selling fundraising CRM or marketing automation software
- Understanding of the Salesforce partner ecosystem
Location & Travel
Candidates must be based in or near London and available to travel within the UK frequently and to Ireland occasionally . This role can be based in our London office , fully remote , or hybrid from Northern Ireland. You’ll need to be in London 2-3 times a month for meetings and collaboration.
