Realtime Recruitment are seeking an experienced Product Manager to support market-leading Time and Synchronization test and measurement solutions for the telecoms and datacoms sector. This role involves working closely with customers and a multidisciplinary team to bring innovative solutions from concept through development, while ensuring sales and marketing teams can effectively communicate product value. Key Responsibilities
- Understand strategic objectives and develop products that leverage technical expertise.
- Conduct user research to identify current and future needs and articulate these clearly.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to prioritize work that delivers the most value.
- Define development project scope, balancing time-to-market, product cost, feature set, and quality.
- Communicate product value through presentations, documentation, training, demos, and customer interactions.
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and seminars.
- Track key metrics to support engineering, manufacturing, and management decisions.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- 5+ years in Product Management or a closely related role.
- Experience with high-value, low-volume technology products, electronic/hardware experience essential.
- Conducting effective discovery sessions with users.
- Ability to analyse market data and identify opportunities.
- Strong technical background (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience).
- Clear communication of decisions and rationale.
- Ability to quickly learn and articulate new technologies.
- Willingness to travel internationally (~25% of the role).
- Knowledge of monitoring or measurement systems.
- Experience with open/disaggregated network architectures or communications technology.
