We're working with a growing AV installation company that has built an excellent reputation delivering high‑end residential and commercial projects. Traditionally known for luxury residential installations, including home cinemas and smart home technology for premium properties, the business has recently secured a significant amount of commercial work, creating an opportunity for an additional AV Installation Engineer to join the team. This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same. One week you could be installing a home cinema in a high‑end residential property, the next you'll be delivering meeting room and conference room installations for commercial clients.
What You'll Be Doing
- First-fix and second-fix AV installations
- Pulling, routing and terminating cables
- Installing speakers, displays, screens and AV equipment
- Basic CAT6 termination and testing
- Working from installation drawings and site plans
- Maintaining high installation standards across residential and commercial projects
- Working independently and as part of a close-knit engineering team
What We're Looking For
- 2-3+ years' experience in AV installation
- Experience with first-fix and second-fix installations
- Confidence using tools and working on construction sites
- Understanding of audio systems and AV hardware
- Basic networking knowledge, including CAT6 termination
- Full UK driving licence
- ECS or CSCS card
- IPAF certification
- PASMA certification
