Join a London-based AI startup building next-generation analytics systems designed to make sense of complex, fast-changing data. Their platform blends advanced data processing pipelines with applied AI to surface insights that traditional dashboards can’t. Think: automation, reasoning, and real-time intelligence.
The team is small, ambitious, and backed by early traction with customers in the AI and research space.
Most of the stack is TypeScript, with Rust used for data-heavy and performance-critical components. You don’t need to know Rust yet, but you’ll be using it in production quickly.
You\'ll enter as Engineer no.2 under the CTO with genuine product ownership, autonomy in technical decisions, and the opportunity to influence the future direction of a company on a steep upward trajectory. You\'ll work hands-on with AI infrastructure at an early stage — shaping real product features, not just proofs of concept.
What You’ll Do
- Build and optimise core product features in TypeScript and Rust
- Design and maintain high-performance APIs and services
- Work across the full stack, from data models to deployment
- Collaborate directly with product and design to shape the user experience
- Contribute to architecture decisions, scaling strategies, and system reliability
What We’re Looking For
- Typescript OR Rust experience
- SQL experience
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
- Willingness to work 4 days onsite in London
- Comfort with cloud/infrastructure technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP)
- Experience in early-stage or startup environments is a plus
