This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior solicitor to build their Court of Protection specialism within a supportive, high-performing team.
You’ll work closely with two established partners, who are both well-known and highly respected in this area. You’ll walk into an already developed financial Court of Protection caseload and benefit from a structured training programme, mentoring, and access to a modern tech stack and flexible working.
Who we’re looking for:
- NQ–2 PQE Solicitor
- Some exposure to private client work, ideally with a desire to specialise in Court of Protection
- Empathetic and emotionally intelligent communicator
- Strong-willed and confident, as you’ll be working on complex, sensitive matters
- Driving licence required for home visits
- Experience on financial deputyship matters
- Previous exposure to Court of Protection work through paralegal or training seat experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a Court of Protection caseload, predominantly financial affairs
- Supporting vulnerable clients with empathy and professionalism
- Engaging in client meetings, home visits, and external networking
- Supporting trainees and assisting with business development as your role grows
- Completing a full internal training programme in your first 12 months
- Contributing to the wider team and firm culture
Salary & Benefits:
- £38,000–£45,000 DOE
- Hybrid working: 2 days from home per week
- Core hours 9 am–5:15 pm with flexible start/finish options
- 25 days annual leave rising to 33 with service
