This is an opportunity to join a commercial litigation team that’s growing quickly, winning increasingly complex work, and investing heavily in its future. As a senior hire, you’ll play a key role in the next stage of that journey, taking ownership of high-quality disputes, helping grow the firm’s Sheffield presence, and creating additional senior capacity within the team. You’ll inherit work, not problems. The focus is on delivering excellent client service, developing relationships, and helping shape the future of the department.
Who we’re looking for:
- Commercial Litigation Solicitor with strong dispute resolution experience
- Ideally 8+ PQE, although candidates either side of this will be considered
- Able to run complex commercial disputes independently
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills
- Commercially aware and client-focused
- Experience gained within a regional or mid-tier commercial practice
- Down-to-earth, collaborative and ambitious personality
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a broad commercial litigation caseload
- Handling complex disputes for business clients
- Building relationships with clients, referrers and local contacts
- Supporting the continued growth of the litigation department
- Contributing to business development and profile-raising activity
- Working closely with senior leadership on future growth initiatives
