Who we’re looking for:
- Clinical Negligence Solicitor with 1–6 years PQE
- Strong experience managing clinical negligence or personal injury cases
- Ability to manage a caseload independently with appropriate support
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases
- Excellent communication, negotiation and client care skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Empathetic approach when working with clients
- Understanding of GDPR and Anti‑Money Laundering requirements
- Interest in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team development (Desired)
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims from instruction to resolution
- Working on complex and high‑value matters including brain injury, spinal injury and fatal cases
- Reviewing medical records and evaluating liability
- Preparing schedules of loss and estimating claim values
- Negotiating with defendants and third parties
- Representing clients at hearings where appropriate
- Providing clear and compassionate updates to clients throughout their case
- Participating in conferences, training and internal team meetings
- Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their development
- Taking part in networking and fundraising initiatives for the firm’s partner charities
