This is a rare opportunity for a Court of Protection Solicitor with 2–3 years’ experience to step into a key role in the Leeds office of a growing national firm.
Following a major acquisition and influx of serious injury work, this firm is looking to expand its Court of Protection offering in Leeds with the same ambition and investment that has led to their Liverpool office growing from 2 to 60 people in just a few years. You’ll join a supportive and people-first team with strong leadership and mentoring, high-quality files, and a clear roadmap for your development.
Who we’re looking for:
- 2–3 years’ PQE with strong Court of Protection exposure
- Experience with deputyship and financial management matters
- Exposure to high-value or serious injury-related Court of Protection work
- Litigated Court of Protection experience
- Strong drafting and communication skills
- Empathetic, proactive and organised
- Growth mindset and desire to progress
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage your own caseload of Court of Protection files, including deputyship applications and financial management
- Liaise with families, clinicians, and other professionals
- Support senior solicitors on complex high-value claims
- Attend hearings and case conferences
- Contribute to the growth of the Leeds team
