Private Family Associate role with a strong focus on high-net-worth work. Opportunity to play a key role in growing the family practice across Manchester. Legal 500 firm offering clear progression, flexibility, and a strong salary and benefits package. This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Family Associate Solicitor to join a well-established, full-service law firm with a strong regional presence and a genuinely collaborative culture. You’ll join a high-performing family team handling predominantly high-net-worth private family work, with plenty of high-quality instructions available from day one. This is a role for someone with energy and ambition, someone who sees the growth story as a real opportunity and wants to help push the family practice forward.
Who we’re looking for
- Private Family Solicitor with around 4 PQE
- Strong experience in private family law, including financial remedy and divorce
- Exposure to high-net-worth work and complex cases
- Comfortable building a profile and presence locally
- Good quality firm background (regional / Legal 500 rather than high street)
- Ambitious, driven, and ready to take ownership of a growth opportunity
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a private family caseload, with a strong emphasis on high-net-worth matters
- Handling divorce, financial remedy and related private family work
- Supporting the continued growth of the family practice in Chester
- Working collaboratively within a growing family team
- Contributing to the longer-term development of the department
There’s no heavy BD pressure, work is driven largely by firm reputation, but the right person will naturally enjoy building relationships and becoming known locally.
