This is a brilliant opportunity for a Private Family Associate to join a respected Legal 500 family team in Greater Manchester, offering exposure to high-value and complex matters alongside a flexible, modern working model.

You’ll be joining a truly down-to-earth and supportive team with a “family feel” group where everyone works hard, supports one another and enjoys the wins together.

With partners driving much of the work into the team, you’ll have a strong, steady caseload, while still having some involvement in networking and wider BD activity as you develop your presence across the region.

Who we’re looking for:

  • 3–5 PQE Private Family Associate Solicitor
  • Experience handling divorce, financial remedy and private children matters
  • Confident running a busy, high-quality caseload independently
  • Strong client-care and communication skills
  • Comfortable supporting BD and building local relationships
  • Down-to-earth, collaborative and team-focused
  • Someone who fits a close-knit, friendly culture and enjoys a “work hard, play hard” environment

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage your own caseload across divorce, finances and private children work
  • Focus primarily on fee-earning with support available from senior colleagues
  • Deliver high-quality advice to HNW and complex clients
  • Attend 2 days per week in the office
  • Build internal and external relationships as the North West family team grows
  • Contribute to departmental development during an active growth phase
