A leading national law firm is looking to appoint a Private Client Tax Director to support the continued growth and strategic development of its Tier 1 Legal 500-ranked private client practice. With one of the largest private client teams in the UK, the firm works with HNW individuals, trustees, family businesses, and international clients, offering joined-up advice across tax, succession planning and wealth preservation.
In this newly created role, you’ll serve as the firm’s lead technical specialist—offering guidance and leadership across complex advisory matters without the pressure of managing your own client portfolio. This is a high-impact role for an experienced tax professional with a strong technical grounding, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for sharing knowledge.
Who we’re looking for:
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified, with strong experience in private client tax advisory
- In-depth expertise in income tax, CGT, IHT, trusts, estate planning and non-dom tax matters
- Experience advising HNW individuals, trustees and family offices
- Strong project leadership, communication and mentoring skills
- Ability to act as the go-to expert across a national private client group
Salary & benefits:
- £80,000–£95,000 depending on experience
- Tier 1 Legal 500 private client team
- Hybrid working – 3 days from home
