We're working exclusively on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a thriving Wills & Probate team in Grimsby, now part of a Top 200 law firm. This role is ideal for a seasoned lawyer who is ready to take on a senior‐level position, manage a varied caseload, contribute to the growth of the team, and help develop the firm's presence across Yorkshire.
Who we're looking for:
- A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 10+ years' PQE
- Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Trusts, Probate, Tax Planning, LPAs and Court of Protection
- Confident handling complex or high‐net‐worth estates and managing a full caseload independently
- Comfortable supervising or mentoring junior team members and supporting the development of others
- A collaborative, client‐focused professional with excellent communication and organisation skills
What you'll be doing:
- Managing a diverse caseload including wills, probate, trusts, elderly client matters, and high‐value estate work
- Working closely with the Head of Department and broader private client network to deliver exceptional client care
- Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors and paralegals, contributing to team development
- Participating in marketing and business development to build the firm's presence in Sheffield and Yorkshire
- Playing a key role in raising the profile of the department with the aim of achieving future Legal 500 recognition
Salary & Benefits:
- Up to £75,000+, depending on experience and level
- Hybrid working – flexible WFH policy based on experience and workload
