Join a people-first legal platform transforming the home-moving market. If you’re ready to play a lead role in shaping the Private Client offering in the North at a business with a clear vision and serious growth momentum, this role could be for you.
With a solid platform of conveyancing and remortgaging services already in place, they’re expanding their Private Client team and are looking for a senior Private Client Solicitor to step in as the principal solicitor for the North. This is a hybrid role based in Stockport with 2–3 days in the office (after onboarding) and flexibility to work part-time (4 days/week) if preferred.
Who we’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ PQE in Private Client law
- Substantial estate administration experience and confident advising on wills, probate, inheritance tax, Court of Protection, and LPAs
- Proven track record of managing a team or mentoring junior colleagues
- Empathetic communicator with high levels of attention to detail
- Commercial mindset and ability to manage a personal caseload to deadlines
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead on complex and high-value estate administration, wills, probate, LPAs, and inheritance planning
- Act as the lead Private Client solicitor in the North, supported by the Head of Department
- Deliver exceptional client care, particularly for vulnerable clients
- Oversee a small support team and manage performance, training, and development
- Help shape future growth and process improvements
