Work on high-value catastrophic injury cases alongside leading specialists.

Flexible entry point from NQ through to Partner, progression based on ability, not PQE.

Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 from home) with clear long-term career pathways.

This is a role built around long-term development in serious injury, not short-term output. You’ll join a national team handling complex, high-value catastrophic injury work, including brain and spinal cord injury cases.

Depending on your level, you’ll either support senior lawyers on major cases or begin managing your own files, with a clear structure around how responsibility increases over time. In your first few months, the focus is on integration, understanding how the team operates, building client relationships and contributing to live multi-track cases. From there, you’ll start to take on more ownership, whether that’s running your own files or playing a bigger role in case strategy, expert liaison and client management. Over time, progression is structured and transparent. You’ll know what’s expected at each level, and there’s genuine flexibility around how quickly you move forward. Whether you’re at the start of your career or already experienced, the role adapts to your level while still offering stretch and development.

The team itself is collaborative and grounded. There’s a strong emphasis on doing the job properly, supporting clients through difficult circumstances while working closely with colleagues to get the best outcomes.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Solicitor
  • Experience handling or assisting on serious or catastrophic injury cases
  • Exposure to brain injury and/or spinal cord injury work
  • Experience with multi-track litigation up to £1m+
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal injury litigation and CPR
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • Empathetic, resilient and able to support vulnerable clients
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach
  • Claimant personal injury background (Desired)
  • Defendant background with relevant experience considered (Desired)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting on or managing catastrophic injury cases depending on experience
  • Supporting Partners and Senior Fee Earners on complex, high-value matters
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements and legal documentation
  • Liaising with clients, medical experts, counsel and other professionals
  • Contributing to case strategy and progression from instruction to resolution
  • Attending court hearings where appropriate
  • Building strong relationships with clients and supporting them throughout their claims

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary aligned to experience and market level
  • Hybrid working, 3 days in the office, 2 from home
  • Clear and transparent progression framework
  • High-quality, complex work with a national team
  • Generous annual leave + birthday leave
  • CSR days and wellbeing support
  • Professional fees paid
  • Strong emphasis on long-term career development
  • Supportive, values-driven culture focused on client outcomes
