The Commercial Property team are well known and respected in the local area. They wish to recruit a dynamic and tenacious Solicitor to join their fast growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a successful and respected team.

This candidate should have an ability to work independently and under pressure with great communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with experienced solicitors on a diverse range of matters including property and business acquisitions and sales, leases, bridging funding and development sites. AFG Law as a firm is passionate about its people. We are looking for a team player who can integrate into a friendly but busy and active team. This candidate must be willing to support the team in its growth, business development and marketing including attending networking events on a regular basis.

Location: Office location Bury but hybrid working will be available

Overview of role:

  • Leading and managing a caseload of commercial property matters including but not limited to sales, acquisitions and disposals, leaseholds, re-mortgages and development acquisitions
  • Growing our outstanding commercial property reputation within the local area including attending networking events
  • Developing long lasting professional relationships with our clients, other solicitors, and businesses as part of the conveyancing processes
  • Supervising, developing and mentoring our people

Experience, skills and qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor
  • Ability to work effectively with all types of people and be a committed team player
  • Outstanding communication and organisational skills and ability to use own initiative
  • Able to supervise trainees, paralegals and admin support
  • Full understanding of all aspects of complex commercial property transactions
  • Professional and self-motivated
  • Able to build long term client relationships and work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
