Take ownership of an established Court of Protection caseload with autonomy and flexibility.

Opportunity to build and lead your own team in the near future.

Friendly and collaborative private client department.

A highly regarded South Manchester firm is looking for a Court of Protection Solicitor to take on an existing caseload and help shape the future of their offering in this area. This is a brand-new position created to support the continued growth of the private client department and alleviate COP-related work currently handled by the wills and probate team. You’ll step into an established caseload of around 25 deputyships and 15 attorneyships and work closely with senior leadership to develop the firm’s Court of Protection practice further.

If you’re ready to step into a more autonomous role with clear scope to build a team around you, this is your opportunity to do exactly that – within a friendly, supportive team with no glass ceiling.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Court of Protection solicitor with 3+ PQE
  • Confident managing a COP caseload independently
  • Interested in building and growing a team over time
  • Collaborative and down-to-earth, keen to contribute to a strong team culture

Salary & benefits:

  • £45,000–£55,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid working – typically 2–3 days from home
  • Career progression framework with genuine scope for growth
  • Autonomy to lead your own caseload and team
  • Supportive team environment with a strong private client function

Contact Kelly Reid if you’re ready to lead your own caseload and shape the direction of a growing Court of Protection offering.
