This is an exceptional opportunity for a junior Commercial Disputes solicitor to join a boutique, Legal 500–ranked firm in Manchester that operates nationally and attracts talent from tier-one international practices. You’ll work on high-value commercial disputes that regularly pit the team against top City and international firms. The work is genuinely impressive for a lawyer at this level, with no low-value claims and no conveyor-belt litigation. The environment is collaborative, non-hierarchical and ambitious. Who we’re looking for:
- Qualified solicitor, NQ–2 years’ PQE in commercial litigation or dispute resolution
- Experience gained within a reputable litigation or disputes team
- Strong academic and technical grounding with a commercial mindset
- A natural problem-solver who focuses on practical, client-led outcomes
- Confident communicator, able to explain complex issues clearly to business owners
- Interest in business development and networking (Desired)

What you’ll be doing:
- Working on high-value commercial disputes including shareholder, contractual, construction and professional negligence matters
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and instructions to Counsel
- Managing cases proactively and keeping clients informed throughout the litigation journey
- Working closely with partners on complex, strategic disputes
- Getting involved in business development and helping grow the firm’s North West presence
