The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 £ per year.

Ultra-low caseload (c.5 files), focus on quality, not volume.

Work almost fully remotely (as little as 1 office day every 1–3 months).

Highly competitive salary + clear route into team leadership roles.

This is a role built around depth, not volume. You’ll handle a small number of catastrophic injury cases at any one time, typically no more than five. That means proper involvement in each claim, close client contact, and the ability to focus on doing the job well rather than moving files quickly.

The team is growing quickly, with multiple hires planned over the coming months. You’ll be joining at a point where the structure is evolving, giving you real input into how the team develops, rather than stepping into something already fixed.

In the early stages, the focus is on integrating into the team’s way of working and building relationships. From there, you’ll operate with a high level of autonomy, supported by a collaborative group that shares knowledge openly and meets regularly to discuss cases and strategy.

Longer term, there’s a clear pathway into leadership. If you’re interested in supervising others or stepping into a team lead role, that progression is available, without needing to move firms to get it.

The working model is genuinely flexible. After settling in, most people attend the office very infrequently, with the emphasis on output rather than presenteeism.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 8+ years’ PQE in personal injury
  • Technically strong, highly analytical and interested in moving into catastrophic injury work
  • Strong experience handling catastrophic or serious injury claims
  • Experience managing complex, high-value cases independently
  • Ability to handle a low-volume, high-focus caseload
  • Interest in developing further within catastrophic / brain injury work
  • Strong client care skills with a focus on long-term relationships
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to team discussions
  • Interest in future leadership or supervisory responsibilities (Desired)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing a small caseload of catastrophic injury claims (c.5 files)
  • Handling cases from instruction through to resolution
  • Building close relationships with clients and providing ongoing support
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues on complex case strategy
  • Attending regular team meetings to share insight and learning
  • Contributing to the development and growth of the team
  • Supporting or mentoring junior lawyers as the team expands (if desired)

Salary & Benefits:

  • Bonus scheme (being introduced)
  • Highly flexible working, as little as 1 office day every 1–3 months
  • Remote-first culture focused on output, not hours
  • Ultra-low caseload allowing high-quality work and client care
  • Clear progression into team leadership roles
  • Growing team with strong investment and hiring plans
  • Collaborative, non-hierarchical environment with direct access to decision makers
