If you’re confident handling RTA claims and want the freedom to manage your own files properly, this role is built around that. You’ll step into a busy team with a steady stream of work, taking ownership of your own RTA caseload from the outset. The expectation isn’t to sit underneath layers of supervision, it’s to run your files end‑to‑end, make decisions, and deliver results for clients.

In the first few months, you’ll focus on picking up your caseload and getting into a rhythm. From there, it’s about building consistency, strengthening your litigation skills, managing cases efficiently, and developing your approach across a range of RTA matters. The environment is straightforward and flexible. You’ll have the option to work remotely, with the support of a growing team around you. As the department continues to expand, there’s clear scope to progress and take on more responsibility over time.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Solicitor or Fee Earner with 2+ years’ RTA experience
  • Proven ability to run RTA claims from inception through to trial
  • Strong understanding of RTA litigation and procedures
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Confident using case management systems (Proclaim experience beneficial)
  • Able to work independently and manage a full caseload
  • Organised, detail‑focused and proactive

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing your own caseload of RTA claims
  • Handling matters from instruction through to settlement or trial
  • Advising clients clearly and practically throughout the claims process
  • Investigating liability and quantum, building case strategy
  • Liaising with insurers, experts, counsel and third parties
  • Maintaining strong file management and compliance standards
