Overview
Senior Private Client role with autonomy, supervision responsibility and high-quality work. Opportunity to shape and support a growing Private Client team. Full-time, permanent position with flexibility and long-term progression. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a well-established Private Client team in Macclesfield, working closely with the Partner and Head of Department. The role offers a blend of hands-on fee earning, supervision, and involvement in the wider development of the Private Client offering. You’ll handle a full and varied caseload while also supporting colleagues, contributing to business development, and helping drive the team forward. This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys responsibility, values quality client care, and wants to play a key role in a collaborative and growing private client practice.
Who we’re looking for
- Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 3+ years’ PQE (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience across Wills, Probate, LPAs, Trusts and Estate Administration
- Confident running a full private client caseload independently
- Comfortable supervising and supporting other fee earners when required
- Experience working to fee income targets with good financial discipline
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and risk management
- A collaborative team player who demonstrates professionalism and initiative
- Confident communicator with clients, colleagues and external referrers
- Willing to be involved in business development and marketing activity
