You’ll join a thriving, award-winning Wills & Probate team that’s known for both its technical excellence and its collaborative, down-to-earth culture. With high-quality support and paralegal assistance, you’ll be free to focus on what you do best, delivering top-tier service to clients across complex, high-value estates, trusts, and Court of Protection work.
This is an opportunity to work closely with a modern, forward-thinking Head of Department and help shape the team’s presence across Yorkshire, while enjoying a sensible workload and real flexibility.
Who we’re looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 10+ years’ PQE
- Strong technical expertise in wills, probate, estate admin, LPAs, trusts, and tax planning
- Confident managing complex, high-net-worth estates independently
- Experience supervising junior fee earners (desirable)
- STEP or SFE qualified, or working towards (desirable)
- Friendly, collaborative, and calm under pressure
- Organised, numerate, and IT literate
- Client-focused with strong communication skills
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage your own caseload of wills, probate, trusts, and elderly client work
- Support the Head of Department and mentor junior staff
- Build relationships with clients and referrers across the region
- Contribute to marketing, networking, and BD initiatives
- Work from your choice of office (Sheffield, Lincoln, Nottingham, or Grimsby)
- Flexible hybrid working depending on experience
Salary & benefits:
- Up to £70,000+ depending on experience and seniority
- 38 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
