100% employee-owned firm, share in the success and shape the future. Blank canvas role with real route to Partner, build your own caseload and presence. Strong pipeline of local work with genuine autonomy and influence from day one.
This Leeds-based role is designed for a senior family solicitor who wants more than just a caseload; it’s for someone who wants to build something. You’ll be stepping into a team with a strong reputation and plenty of work in the area, but without a heavy existing caseload tying your hands. Instead, you’ll have the space to grow your own client base, build relationships in the community and shape how the role evolves.
In the first 6–12 months, the focus will be on establishing yourself locally, building contacts, converting enquiries and developing a steady flow of privately funded work. Over time, as your caseload grows and financials follow, there’s clear scope to expand further, potentially building a small team around you.
The firm itself is collaborative, open and down-to-earth. There’s no hierarchy for the sake of it; people are trusted to get on with their work, contribute ideas and be part of the bigger picture. Being employee-owned, there’s a genuine sense that everyone has a stake in the firm’s direction and success.
If you’re feeling stuck where you are, plateaued, boxed in or unable to progress, this is the kind of role where you can take control, build your reputation locally and work towards partnership on your own terms.
