Are you a Private Client Fee Earner looking to join a Legal 500-accredited firm with a strong reputation in the Coventry and Warwickshire area? You’ll take on a varied caseload and quickly become a key part of a friendly and well-established Wills & Probate team. From day one, you’ll be trusted to manage client matters independently and work collaboratively across two office locations, with the support of an experienced and approachable leadership team. As you grow into the role, you’ll be encouraged to develop your professional network, raise your local profile, and contribute to the department’s development.
Who we’re looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a busy private client department
- Confident handling wills, probate, LPAs, and related matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced with legal case management systems
- Motivated, client-focused and integrity-driven
- Proactive with a keen interest in development and networking
- STEP qualified or working towards (desirable)
What you’ll be doing:
- Handle a varied caseload of wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, LPAs, and CoP work
- Deliver client-focused legal advice from instruction to completion
- Liaise with clients, referrers, and professional contacts
- Support team objectives and contribute to department growth
- Attend networking and business development events
- Maintain compliance with Lexcel and SRA standards
- Work predominantly in-office with flexibility considered post-probation
Salary & Benefits:
- £45,000–£55,000 (DOE)
- 23 days annual leave (+ birthday off and additional leave over Christmas)
- Annual leave increases after 5 years’ service
