Manage a high-quality EL/PL caseload in a stable, independent PI practice. Clear performance expectations with realistic billing and strong job security. Hybrid working, free parking, and a genuinely supportive, family-friendly culture.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor or CILEX to join a well-established claimant PI team in Cheshire, handling a predominantly EL/PL caseload with a steady, reliable source of work. In your first six months, you’ll take ownership of around 100–125 files. By 12 months, you’ll be consistently meeting billing targets, demonstrating strong litigation skills, and managing client relationships confidently. Longer term, you’ll be a trusted and valued member of the department, contributing to team success and maintaining the firm’s strong reputation for quality claimant work.
This role suits someone who enjoys running their own caseload, values job security, and wants to work somewhere down-to-earth where people genuinely enjoy working together.

- Solicitor or CILEX with minimum 5 years’ PQE
- Strong experience handling EL/PL claims
- Confident managing a personal caseload of 100–125 files
- Background in claimant personal injury work
- Good exposure to fast-track matters, with some intermediate or higher-value experience helpful
- Organised, commercially aware, and comfortable working to targets
- Approachable, collaborative, and a good cultural fit for a close-knit team
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a caseload of EL/PL files from instruction through to settlement
- Handling primarily fast-track matters, with some intermediate cases
- Delivering excellent client care with clear, empathetic communication
- Progressing cases efficiently while meeting billing and performance targets
- Building strong working relationships within your team
- Contributing positively to overall department performance
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
- Performance bonus available for exceeding targets
- Hybrid working – currently 2 days from home, with plans to move to 3
- Flexibility considered on a person-by-person basis
- Office based in Cheshire with free on-site parking
- Strong job security within a long-standing, independent PI practice
- Clear progression pathway for high performers
- Supportive, sociable, and family-friendly culture
- A team environment where people are valued, supported, and stay long-term
