This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor (5+ PQE) to step into an associate-level role within a growing, employee-owned firm in Coventry. You’ll join a well-established Trusts & Estates department at an exciting stage of growth. The firm has expanded significantly in recent years and continues to invest in its people, systems and long-term development, making this a strong move for a solicitor who wants both quality work and a clear route forward.
Who we’re looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in Private Client
- Strong experience across wills, estate administration, trusts and LPAs
- Confident managing a broad caseload independently
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Commercially aware and interested in contributing to growth
- Collaborative, personable and professional
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and growing a full private client caseload, including:
- Drafting and reviewing key legal documents
- Advising clients across the full trusts & estates portfolio
- Supporting colleagues and working collaboratively within the department
- Contributing to business development and departmental growth
In your first 6 months, you’ll be expected to confidently handle an active caseload and embed yourself within the team. By 12 months, you’ll be operating fully independently at Associate/Senior Associate level, contributing to business development and supporting the department’s expansion. Longer term, you’ll become a trusted senior figure, helping shape the direction of the team and mentoring junior colleagues.
Salary & Benefits:
- £50,000–£55,000 depending on experience
