This is an excellent opportunity for a Court of Protection Solicitor or Associate looking to carve out their own niche and build something long-term.
You’ll step into an existing caseload of deputyship and attorneyship matters, taking over all Court of Protection work from the wills and probate solicitors, and you’ll have the autonomy to manage this independently.
With the foundations already in place and demand currently being turned away, you’ll be well placed to grow the Court of Protection offering and eventually build your own team.
Who we’re looking for
- Court of Protection Solicitor, 3PQE+
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating as part of the wider private client team
- Ambitious and commercially minded with an interest in developing a department
What you’ll be doing
- Manage an existing caseload of around 25 deputyships and 15 attorneyships
- Work independently day-to-day with support from the wider private client team
- Deliver an excellent service to clients with complex needs
- Grow the Court of Protection workstream and, in time, build and lead your own team
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: Competitive, DOE
- Hybrid working: 2–3 days WFH
- Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays (with further increases for length of service)
