Lead a growing commercial property department with hybrid working and a modern, paper-light setup. Shape your role across Harrogate, Leeds and York as the team expands. This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor to take the lead within a forward-thinking, tech-enabled firm with offices across the region. You’ll join a commercial property function currently supported by consultants and backed by a wider corporate/commercial team. You’ll play a key part in developing external relationships and expanding the firm’s footprint.

Working primarily from Harrogate, you’ll benefit from a collaborative, supportive culture where innovation and professional development are encouraged. This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer seeking progression, autonomy and the chance to make a real impact.

Who we’re looking for:

  • An experienced commercial property solicitor, ideally 3–6 PQE
  • Confident handling a broad range of commercial property matters
  • Able to work largely unsupervised while being an active part of the wider team
  • Comfortable working across different locations
  • Willing and able to network, build relationships and help develop the team’s workstreams

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage a mixed caseload of commercial property matters
  • Handle acquisitions of shops, offices, industrial units, bare land and multi-let mixed-use buildings
  • Negotiate leases and supporting documentation
  • Work on residential development site acquisition and financing
  • Collaborate closely with the corporate/commercial team
  • Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the commercial property department

Salary & Benefits:

  • Flexitime, with the ability to accrue up to 4 additional days’ leave per year
  • 35-hour working week
  • Hybrid working (minimum 3 days in the office per week)
