This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a collaborative, high-performing team in Birmingham, working with high-net-worth agricultural clients on complex estates, succession planning and tax-driven matters. You’ll work alongside senior specialists while developing your technical expertise and progressing your career within a supportive, inclusive environment. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys high-quality, detailed private client work within a firm that values professionalism, personal connection and agile working. Who we’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ PQE in private client work
- Experience working with agricultural clients or estates
- Confident handling wills, LPAs, trusts, estate administration and succession planning
- Strong drafting, communication and numerical skills (including Excel)
- Highly organised and detail-focused
- Caring, personable and professional, with strong integrity
- STEP qualified or working towards (desired)
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist senior fee earners with complex estates, trusts and agricultural succession matters
- Manage your own caseload profitably and independently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and rural referrers
- Conduct legal research and liaise with accountants, financial planners and land agents
- Ensure financial control of files and timely workflow management
- Contribute to marketing and business development as the team grows
