This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and highly experienced litigation team in Altrincham. You’ll work closely with senior directors who specialise in insurance litigation and professional negligence, taking responsibility for running your own files while receiving ongoing supervision and support. The firm offers an informal, low-red-tape environment where you’ll have exposure to all aspects of litigation. You’ll work alongside an experienced team of directors, consultants, solicitors and support staff, with the opportunity to learn from senior specialists and contribute to a thriving commercial litigation offering.
Who we’re looking for:
- 3–5 PQE Commercial Litigation Solicitor
- Broad commercial litigation experience, ideally including:
- Insurance coverage disputes
- Professional negligence matters
- Debt recovery
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters
- Draft letters of instruction to experts, LOCs, orders and hearing directions
- Prepare bundles and identify key documents for inclusion
- Conduct disclosure and manage all aspects of file progression
- Work closely with senior solicitors/directors, delegating tasks appropriately
- Contribute to a growing Litigation department
Salary & Benefits:
- £55,000–£70,000 depending on experience
- 25+ days’ annual leave (increasing on a discretionary basis)
- No targets or billing structure
- Hands-on exposure to high-quality litigation work

- Standard office hours: 9am–5pm
- Fully office-based with no remote working
