- Join a growing conveyancing team where client care comes before volume
- Help develop a newer office, with opportunities to build your profile through networking
- Flexible working, genuine autonomy and a friendly, non-corporate culture
Are you a newly qualified Residential Conveyancer or junior Solicitor looking for a firm where you can build your career without the pressures of a conveyancing factory?
This profitable, growing South Manchester practice is looking for a Residential Conveyancer to join its team, with the opportunity to be based at one of its multiple South Manchester offices.
You’ll join at an exciting stage in the firm’s development, taking responsibility for residential property matters while helping build its local presence. The focus is firmly on excellent client care rather than simply pushing files through as quickly as possible.
You’ll work closely with an experienced Head of Department and benefit from shared administrative support. There’s also an opportunity to get involved in business development and networking, with senior colleagues actively leading these efforts.
The culture is friendly, collaborative and team-focused. The firm has a personal, non-corporate feel, organises regular social and networking events, and offers flexibility to support a healthy work-life balance.

- 15% bonus on billings above 3x salary
- Flexible working hours
- Home-working flexibility
- 20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
- Additional Christmas closure
- Medical cash plan
- Pension scheme
- Formal career progression structure
- Shared administrative support
- Autonomy over your work
- Regular social and networking opportunities
- Supportive, family‑friendly working environment
The firm operates a billing target of three times salary, alongside an expectation of approximately 20 completions per month. However, its approach remains focused on delivering a personal, responsive service rather than high-volume conveyancing.
This is a particularly attractive opportunity for a junior conveyancer who wants to make their name within a growing office, develop strong client relationships and benefit from a clear progression structure.
If you’re looking for a smaller, supportive practice where your contribution will be recognised and you’ll have room to grow, this could be an excellent next move.
