Who we’re looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced fee earner with at least 1 year’s relevant private client experience
- Experience running your own caseload
- Exposure to Wills, Probate and broader private client matters
- Confident, self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent client care skills with the ability to empathise in sensitive situations
- Comfortable using practice management systems, Outlook and Word
- Willing to engage in networking and business development to support the department
- A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a varied private client caseload, including:
- Wills
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Trusts (including Personal Injury trusts)
- Court of Protection matters
- Estate planning
- Providing clear, practical and empathetic advice to clients
- Handling matters from instruction through to completion
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to repeat and referral work
- Supporting the wider team and contributing to the ongoing success of the department
- Participating in networking and business development activities where appropriate
