Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Workshop Assistant to support our vehicle technician team with general shop floor organisation, cleanliness and hands on labour.
The ideal candidate will possess a good eye for detail, take pride in their work and have the ability to pre-empt the needs of the workshop team and business as a whole.
This role also offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills and learn on the job.
You will play a vital part in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and efficiency.
Duties Include but not limited to
- Helping our team build and fit our custom coffee vans
- Assisting with basic carpentry and joinery tasks
- Washing and preparing vehicles for conversion
- Sorting incoming deliveries and putting materials in the right place
- Keeping the workshop tidy and organised
- Moving vans around the yard
- Occasional deliveries or collections in the company vans
- Learning to fit LPG systems and other components (full training provided)
Ideal Candidate
- Some experience or interest in carpentry, joinery, or vehicle work
- Willing to listen, learn, and take direction
- Positive attitude and good attention to detail
- Reliable and takes pride in their work
- Must have a full manual UK driving licence
- Must be over 21 years old and have held a full UK driving licence for 2+ years (for van insurance purposes)
